The Egyptian Pavilion designed by Zaha Hadid
Shanghai World Expo 2010
The creative team of Thomas Gray of The Gray Circle and Lou Mallozzi of Experimental Sound Studio embarked upon another Zaha Hadid Architects designed pavilion. This one for Egypt at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. The film, part documentary, part moving-image installation reflects the Egypt of today; a country of enterprise and progression alongside tradition and the wonders of its history. The curved ribbon of the pavilion, expands to create a natural screen and focal point for the projected images.
